Spring is a myth! (At least in New England!)

Well maybe I spoke to soon when I said I thought spring was coming! I figured this picture that I took the other day would at least help you think springlike thoughts! I hope you all have been well. Things have been pretty busy with Holy Week and the end of school coming near. If anyone wants to write one on my term papers let me know I can hook you up. Believe it or not spring is coming and that means everyone gets real busy. I know you are thinking right now "Andrew, what are you talking about? Things are always busy!" I am really excited about things to come within the Jr. High ministry.
I am really excited about the mission trip coming in July. Many of you may not have heard, but I had announced at the parent information meeting for the trip that I would not be able to attend the trip due to a conflict of scheduling with school. Suzan Culver was planning to go in my place. I would have gladly dropped a class over the summer if it were not for my scholarship. Anyway, I am super happy to share with you all that I am now able to go due to a shift the school made in the schedule. I am really glad that I will once again have the opportunity and privilege to lead your teens on this awesome trip! Thanks to Suzan Culver for stepping up and being willing to take on the Jr. High. I can not wait to share with you all the great stories that will come out of this trip!
I also want to give you all a heads up on a meeting that I am sure you may take an interest in. On April 29th after 2nd service the Youth Director search team will be holding a meeting to update the church on all of the goings on of the search process. I encourage you to go if you have the chance!
I also want to let you all know that I would love to hear your thoughts about the youth ministry. I know that there are a lot of issues going on with teens these days and I would love to hear what it is like to be a parent with a Jr. Higher. Most of all I simply love hearing from you all. I have a strong desire to keep you the parent informed about what is going on. I would also like to help in equipping you in anyway that I can. You can always contact me at andrew@fcch.org . I truly hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Don't forget that we have Friday Night Alive next week April 20th @ 7:00pm!
