It really seems that everyone, including myself, has been really busy as of late. After writing what seems like billions of pages for school these past few weeks, I am realizing that it is important to breathe. Of course, not breathing is a bad thing, but I think you know what I mean. We all need to take the time to stop. There are times in my life that I let so much slip by because I am busy. You may be thinking, "thanks Andrew for reminding me that I should stop and take a break, but you must not understand what I have to get done!" With sports, school and anything else your children are involved in, life can get overbooked real fast. I want to encourage you to take 10 to 15 minutes go outside, look at the sky and take a big breath! Enjoy the what God has done and is doing in your life! I had the opportunity to stop this past weekend. Sara and I celebrated our third anniversary this past weekend by taking a night and spending it in Boston. Our anniversary was a month ago, but with school we were unable to celebrate. It was nice to take just a short period of time and get away. This picture is from our hotel window.
There are a few exciting things that are in the works for the Jr. High. I am in the process of putting some finishing touches on them and will be annoucing what is going on for the summer real soon! This past week we had the opportunity to have the 6th graders come and join us on Sunday Morning. It was awesome to meet some new friends and it was even better seeing them interact so well with the 7th and 8th graders. I am really excited to get to know them in the next year! I must say that I am sorry to see the 8th graders move on to the Sr. High. They are a great group of kids, and it has been so much fun watching them grow spiritually. Many of them have also grown to be taller than me!
Just so you all know this Friday May 18th will be our second to last Friday Night Alive. The last one will be June 1st, so mark your calendars! I hope you all have a great week and are able to experience the wonderful peace of Christ!
